The strategic objective of the EU-NCIT project is the reinforcement of the S&T potential to provide know-how and experience in elaborating and coordination proposals and projects related to several IST research areas within the Romanian National Center for Information Technology. 

Among its objectives: 

O5. Create, mobilize, and support national human resources by focusing on young scientists, trying to stop the “brain drain” trend . One of the EU-NCIT goals is that, by the end of the project, at least 25% of the researchers in NCIT will be young professionals developing their PhD studies or starting post-doctoral studies within the Centre , after being trained, in part or in full, in established Research Centers in the EU .

O6. Enrich human potential by training in MS or other ACC for PhD students and/or post-doctoral researchers, by organizing study visits of NCIT young researchers to other institutions .

ROINTERA project is provided to be implemented with the scope to stimulate, to encourage and to facilitate Romanian technical scientifically community participation to EC RTD Programs, focus on FP6 and integration of this community in the European Research Area.

ROINTERA will assure a Romanian NCP and High Quality Centers of Research networks, will organize specific information events and training and consultancy activities with the scope to increase the quality and quantity of Romanian eligible projects sent to EC, assuring in the same time a high information dissemination degree.
