Artificial Intelligence and Multi-agent Systems
Our research interests are in cognitive multi-agent systems, with special focus on coordination mechanisms, automated negotiation, multi-agent learning, MAS architectures, and agents' autonomy. We are currently developing models of emotional intelligent agents and doing research on affective computing. We are also investigating conceptual models to support constructive e-learning and agent-based tools for cooperative learning and tele-working.
The targeted areas of applications are organisation
coordination, e-commerce, mobile environments, virtual environments for
learning, and CSCW .
