Artificial Intelligence and Multi-agent Systems Laboratory Our research interests are in cognitive multi-agent systems, with special focus on coordination mechanisms, automated negotiation, multi-agent learning, MAS architectures, and agents' autonomy. We are currently developing models of emotional intelligent agents and doing research on affective computing. We are also investigating conceptual models to support constructive e-learning and agent-based tools for cooperative learning and tele-working. The targeted areas of applications are organisation
coordination, e-commerce, mobile environments, virtual environments for
learning, and CSCW . The head of the laboratory is Adina
Magda Florea. ACSys 2005, Workshop on Agents for Complex Systems, in conjunction with SYNASC-2005 , 7th International Symposium on Symbolic and Numeric Algorithms for Scientific Computing, Timisoara, Romania, September 26 - 30, 2005 Participation at TAC-SCM 2005 competition 5èmes Jounées d'Extraction et Gestion des Connaissances , Université René Descartes Paris 5, 19-21 janvier 2005
